The standard cuts run from 88 to 180 square yards, with 100 and 150 in between; a few odd sizes appear on corner and park-facing positions. Most plots carry a north-east orientation on a Vastu-led grid. Construction norms allow up to three floors, so the same plot works for a family kothi now or independent floors later.
